How To Change Keyboard Language on Windows 11

In this blog post, I will give a detailed view of how you can change your keyboard language on the Windows 11 Operating System.

1. Right-click on the Windows icon. Click on Settings. From the list of options, click on Time & language

2. It will open the time & language settings. Click on Language & Region section. It will open the language & region section.

3. Under Preferred languages, you can see the languages that are supported by the Windows operating system. Here, I have English (United Kingdom) as the default language.

4. For adding language, you have to click on Add a language. You can search for the language that you want. I am going to search for the German language. Once you type, the results will pop up at the bottom. You can click on that language. Then click on Next.

5. Here you will be able to see the optional language features. By default, everything will be selected here. If you want, you can unselect them.

6. Right now, I am not going to unselect them. Then click on the Install option. It will install the language that you have asked for.

7. Even though, it shows the status as Pending, you will be able to see the default language and the language that you have installed.

8. You can switch to your desired language by clicking on the Keyboard Layout option. By default, it is in English (United Kingdom). But you can change it to German by clicking on German.

9. Now, it has changed to German. You can also test this to see whether it is working or not.

10. Click on the Search bar and type Keyboard. You can see the On-Screen Keyboard app under the search result. It is an inbuilt app that is available in Windows 11. Click on that app.

11. The On-Screen Keyboard app will open. This keyboard is now in German. When you switch it to English (United Kingdom), it will change into English. In this way, you can easily switch between the languages.

12. There are other ways available as well. One more way to reach this section is by clicking on the Search icon and searching for the Settings app. You can do this if the settings are not visible when you click on the Microsoft icon. Then follow the previously mentioned steps.

13. You can also search for Language Settings in the search bar. It will also open the Language & Region section in the settings app.

These are the steps for changing the keyboard language in Windows 11. With the help of this blog, you can add as many languages as you want and switch them according to your choice.
